Lighting Open & Miracle Welsh Area Championships

This weekend we are hosting both a Lightning Open (On the Saturday) and the Miracle Welsh Area Championships (both Sat & Sun). As well as our September Regatta on the Sunday. So alot of action on the water to look forward too.
Attached are the Notice of Race (NoR) and Sailing Instructions (SIs) for the events. Hopefully all is clear in those documents but to provide a short summary for our usual club racers.
On Sunday 22nd Sept there will be both the Miracles Champs & September Regatta running alongside each other. There are a few minor differences to the usual club racing schedule to accommodate this.
- The first race on Sunday 22nd will be at 1100hrs and this will be for the Miracles who will be sailing under the K flag.
- Club racers taking part in the September Regatta will immediately follow this using the normal H flag.
- There will be a 1 minute delay between the start of the Miracle fleet and the 5 minute signal for the Club Racing.
- There will be 2 races run back to back in the morning as usual and 1 in the afternoon starting at approximately 1300hrs but this time will be confirmed by the Race Officer on the day.
- Note, the afternoon race will be a normal handicap race (as is the norm with the Regatta's) and not a pursuit race.
