With the current dry weather continuing and the fields around the lake becoming very dry please note that the use of BBQs or camp fires at Shotwick Lake is not allowed until further notice. There are no exceptions. Simon Dolman
With great sadness we share the news that Simon Dolman passed away on 7th July after suffering a heart attack while on holiday in Italy with his family. Simon was a much-loved member of Shotwick whose passion for the club, both on and off the water and his many contributions over the years leave a lasting impact. Lighting Open
It was a typical lively race day at Shotwick Lake for the annual Lightning Open. June Regatta

Yes! Lightning Open is coming
Saturday 4th July. Shotwick Lake Sailing hosts the Lightning Open. The Lightning Fleet - led of course by Commodore Jeremy is growing fast, so expect a lively but fun day of racing. Points Mean Prizes!
Well actually, for the non-racers reading this, the lower your points total and the better you are doing!!! So the aim for all those attending the prize presentations last Sunday was to have the lowest score overall, winning one of the coveted club trophies.
