Croeso and welcome to Shotwick Lake Sailing

Shotwick Lake is situated on the Welsh, English border on the edge of the Dee estuary. We have members from North Wales, The Wirral, Chester and North West England. 

A family club we pride ourselves on our community and are an affiliated RYA Training Centre running sailing and windsurfing courses for both juniors and adults alike.

VI Sailors at Shotwick

After the wild and gusty Saturday, today brought perfect conditions for one of the regular VI Sailing Sessions. Two VI sailors took to the lake with Paul Maltby and Paul Edge in two of the club Hansa Access dinghies, specially adapted to enable disabled sailors to get out on the water. A Busy Saturday

Another successful work party was held on Saturday morning (13th June). But that was not all that was happening at Shotwick Lake yesterday. VI Sailing

Volunteers required! VI Sailing is confirmed for this Sunday 14th June (weather permitting). At the moment there are 4 VI sailors confirmed.
