Croeso and welcome to Shotwick Lake Sailing

Shotwick Lake is situated on the Welsh, English border on the edge of the Dee estuary. We have members from North Wales, The Wirral, Chester and North West England. 

A family club we pride ourselves on our community and are an affiliated RYA Training Centre running sailing and windsurfing courses for both juniors and adults alike.

September Work Party

Wow Time flies! It is time for the next work party, and Les has a healthy list of work ready for next Saturday morning (6th). The bulk of the work involves cutting down the elderberry trees that are cutting into and damaging the perimeter fence. Miracle Championships

Are you a Miracle sailor? Shotwick Lake Sailing has an active Miracle fleet and in September will be holding the Miracle Welsh Area Championships over the 20th/21st September. On the Saturday evening there will be a social evening in the clubhouse, complete with a tasty meal - open to club members, friends and visitors.   All are welcome to participate in the championships. The Med

Sunday at Shotwick Lake resembled the Mediterranean, as the hot balmy weather continues. But it was no distraction to the keen racers who competed for two more (races 13 and 14) Summer Series races and race 7 in the Sunday Afternoon Pursuit Series.
