A work party post about a post!

Saturday 1st was the second working party of 2025. Another great day with an excellent turnout and superb weather, meant that many outstanding tasks were progressed. Jon Davies and Paul James (pictured) were particularly proud of the new concrete post they installed, to hold a deep water warning sign. Which of course enables us to post a post about a post… :)

Jon is already a regular with his Miracle dinghy, but Paul is making a return to sailing after an 18 year break, so look out for him in his Laser 2000 as he gets back on to the water! Like Jon, Paul is really keen to get racing.

According to Jon, Paul did most of the digging. It seems there might be a story about the cement availability once the hole was dug - but Ill let them explain all about that when you meet them at the Club. 

One of the other jobs completed was a good clean and polish of the safety boat so it can keep up with the more speedy racers!
