Ladies that L(a)unch - Sat 10th Oct

Spoiler - the next one is on Saturday 14th November…

Vicki Hall was there.

The blustery and showery conditions didn’t deter the attendees of our first session. A small but keen group of ladies from our membership pool got together for a good chat, hot drink and cake (of course).

It was good to take the opportunity to learn more about each other and welcome a member who hadn’t been down to the club before. Ideas were gathered for our future sessions and we concluded with a very bracing stroll around the lake.
These sessions are planned to take place on the second Saturday of each month going forward for ladies who are club members. We will not necessarily be going out on the water although this would be great once we get into the Spring season next year. Sailing, paddle boarding, kayaking, whatever is your passion.

It is a safe place to meet new friends, have a catch up and relax. It is your club, so we hope this will be the start of something new to expand the use of our clubhouse, grounds and learn from each other’s collective skills but most importantly to have fun.
We hope to see you at the next session, Saturday 14th November. Keep an eye on the general WhatsApp group, website and our socials for updates. Any questions please contact membership@shotwicksailing.org
