Sat 8th March - Call for Volunteers

Thanks to Beth we have the opportunity to participate in an open day at Ellesmere port Sports Village (EPSV). This is a great chance to get the word out about our club and to potentially recruit some new members.
The cunning plan is to take along a fully rigged Oppi dinghy and a colourful windsurfer sail, and Beth and the comms team have several fun ideas to engage with visitors on the day.
What can I do to help?, I hear you cry!'
Well:
- The transport of one Oppi dinghy (roof rack or van) to and/or from EPSV, to arrive at 10am for an 11am start. The event finishes at 4pm.
- Free photocopying services for promo leaflets.
- Volunteer to be on the stand for an hour or so during the day, to pass on your enthusiasm for all things Shotwick.
If you can help with any of the above then contact Beth via Whatsapp or email Karen at membership@shotwicksailing.org . Anyone can come along, especially some of our younger members. All that is needed is a dollop of enthusiasm and excitement about life on the water and of course Shotwick Lake Sailing!
