Spring is here!

Well the start of the Spring Series and handicap race anyway! Racing Secretary, Simon Dolman, reports from Sunday 20th April. Note Simon is keen for all to get a chance at producing racing reports. Have a chat with Simon if you are interested. Sunday racing sees two races back-to-back in the Spring Series and the afternoon handicap series.

A Day for Friendship, Not Just Results.

Todays sailing wasnt about results, today was about something far more valuable: spending time with good friends, and making new ones too.

It was fantastic to welcome back Harry and Gordon after such a long time away. We also had some new friends joining the fun: a big welcome to Maisie Dolby, racing at the club for the very first time! It was heartwarming to see Jim Young giving up his race to offer support and guidance as she navigated her first race. 
Equally exciting was seeing Paul and Winter out on the water for their first club race—great to have you join us - we hope to see you back out again soon - you did great!

And lets not forget the galley, back in full swing! A huge thank you to Dot and Vicki for keeping us fuelled with bacon butties—very much appreciated by all what a fantastic social lunch time and afternoon!
It truly was one of those days where the sun, the water, and the company came together perfectly. The results? They'll come later. For now, were just soaking in the joy of time well spent with great people.
Heres to many more days like this one - fantastic!
