It is that time of the year when it is time to break open the piggy bank and pay your annual subscription. Worth every penny of course. You will have received at least two reminder emails from Membership Secretary Karen, but the clock is ticking… go online and make the best investment of 2025 now, tariff-free racing.

And when you are marvelling at the tremendous value for money the membership is, remember that it is due to the many willing duties members undertake, not only on the work party days but behind the scenes in many many ways.

Of course one of those is racing support. No experience is necessary. You do not even need to race. But all members are encouraged to pop onto the duty roster and sign up for at least four duties each year. Experienced racers can do Officer of the Day. Any member can do Assistant Race Officer and Safety Boat Crew. Only the Safety Boat Helmet requires certain qualifications to complete.
